I think this product is for some kind of milk at least that’s what it looks like. If anyone can read what I think is Chinese and can clarify that would be great. I will say this however, this style of ad has been played out… so many people have used this same technique it’s starting to get a little old. But we here at Casualty of Design post the good, the bad and the ugly! LOL… enjoy!

I don’t like this ad campaign at all! First of all who in the world would name an energy drink SPAM? I mean come on what were you thinking… SPAM?
That’s got to be one of the worst decisions I’ve seen so far this year, no wait… I’m going to give it to them. This is the worst ad campaign I’ve seen so far this year… terrible! I’m really not the type to bag on somebody’s hard work but this ad campaign seems more like an art school project. The name of the product for one then on top of that the Photoshop work is elementary and that’s being nice.
If you want to sell energy drinks stick to the script, bright colors, crazy wacky characters, extreme sports, etc. There’s no way this energy drink is going to be around two years from now unless they re-brand asap!

This isn’t your typical Meltin’Pot advertisement, where are the pretty boys and girls in skinny jeans? My information might be wrong because I’m guessing this work is done by a student. There’s nothing terribly wrong with the artwork it just doesn’t go with what Meltin’Pot is all about, I don’t understand this campaign at all! If this is in fact approved by Meltin’Pot, I must say… get back to what works. Hot models in your jeans on vibrant and wacky photoshoots. Sexy jeans need to be present to sell them… duuur!

Oye vay… WTF was the art director thinking on this one. I won’t bore you with a lot of yip yap with regard to how bad this ad campaign actually is, I’ll just show you! By the way if I was one of the models in this ad campaign I’d be pissed. Could you imagine shooting photos all day then once the ad finally hits the market you find out your face has been super-imposed with an ass! There might be a few models going postal out there as we speak.

I’m filing this one under bad ads. I get what they’re trying to do but it’s just too cheesy not to file under bad ads!

I don’t know what V-dub was thinking putting this ad out, it’s kind of lame don’t ya think? I mean for any other car company sure… “Yugo”, “Kia” or the old school “Chevy Pacer” but anything with a Volkswagen logo on it… NO, NO, NO! No offense but the art director Jun Zhang must of been having a bad day or bumped his/her head letting this one go public.

I needed to find an ad to post tonight that I thought was “bad” or in “bad taste”. It didn’t take long to stumble across this masterpiece. LOL, I don’t know what they were thinking when this one went public, there doesn’t seem to be any direction.
