You don’t see Everlast around too much anymore especially in the shadow of new companies like “Tap Out” and “Affliction”. Everlast is best known for their presence in the world of boxing; What some people don’t know is that Everlast is now making their push to snatch a share of the MMA world! I wish them all the luck in the world especially because I’m sick and tired of seeing all these gym rats running around with tight Affliction t-shirts on (at the grocery store, at yoga, at nice restaurants, etc.)!

I really like the typography but I’m not too sure it’s what Everlast needs marketing wise to make an impact on their target demographic. I don’t think the average muscle head, protein shake drinking… arm bar submitting guy cares about typography. I on the other hand can appreciate it… so for that, kudos Everlast but you probably should have played it safe with girls in bikinis or pit bulls graphics and tattoo art!

The typography in this ad campaign is so cool it makes me want to pinch somebody! I know what you’re thinking… I’m the kind of guy who would probably find any excuse to pinch anyone, and you’re right! The fact still remains that the typography in this campaign is kicking some major gluteus maximus.

The typography in this ad campaign is so cool it makes me want to pinch somebody! I know what you’re thinking… I’m the kind of guy who would probably find any excuse to pinch anyone, and you’re right! The fact still remains that the typography in this campaign is kicking some major gluteus maximus.

The look is just amazing the message I’m not so sure about. The tagline if you look closely at the bottom by the logo says “For People With A Jewish Sense of Humor”. I kind of laughed when I read it and then when you put it in context with the different ads main messages it’s slightly more humorous but it does seem a little risky that they might offend the Jewish community.

Being a hair salon based in GERMANY, you’d think they’d keep the Jewish humor to a minimum but I don’t know the first thing about the political and social climate of Germany so I’m going to assume they know what they’re doing. In any case if attention is what they wanted then by golly they got it.
